Helping Hand

Consumer Direct and Trading Standards offer helping hand to shoppers at Drakes Circus, Plymouth.

A team from Consumer Direct South West and Plymouth Trading Standards will be at Drakes Circus, Plymouth on Thursday 14 December from 9am-9pm to raise awareness of Consumer Direct’s helpline service to shoppers.

As consumers hunt down bargains, representatives from Consumer Direct South West and Plymouth Trading Standards will be on hand to distribute information materials and talk with shoppers on topics such as:

  • Unwanted Gifts & Rights to Refunds.
  • Avoiding Counterfeits
  • Rights over Faulty Goods
  • Making Choices on Extended Warranties

Clive Kenyon, Contact Centre Manager for Consumer Direct South West said: 'We are delighted to be at Drakes Circus, Plymouth to give consumers the opportunity to gain further information on our service'.
