Energy and Post

Welcome

From 1st October 2008, Consumer Direct has offered advice on energy supply and postal provider complaints and enquiries.

So, if you need advice on an issue with your gas or electricity supplier, just follow the links on the left.

However, if your enquiry is regarding electrical goods, such as a faulty fridge or gas oven, you’ll need to go to the “Before You Buy” or “After You Buy” sections.

Similarly, if you have an enquiry about a postal provider, such as a courier company or Royal Mail, you should follow the links on the left for this.

However, if your complaint is due to a trader not sending you your goods you’ll probably need the advice offered in the “Before You Buy” or “After You Buy” sections.

All package travel tour operators must be bonded. This means that if the tour operator ceases trading you should get your money back. If you have booked your flight and accommodation separately, you may not have the protection.
